Can I download from the TV?

Yes, in two ways, depending on how you use Whatplay on it:

• Android TV and Google TV (and Fire TV, once it arrives): with Whatplay Premium, the player has a “Download” chip. Choose the quality and it’s saved on the TV itself; it keeps going even if you leave the video. You’ll find it in “Downloads” in the side menu, where you can pause or delete them, or use “Delete watched”.
• WebCast and TV Link: the TV can’t store videos, so in its player “Download to phone” downloads it to your phone. In “Downloads”, in the bar on the left, you see your phone’s downloads, and “Watch here” puts one that’s finished on the TV. It works with Premium or with ad-free time, which you earn with a video on your phone.

As on the phone, live streams and DRM-protected content can’t be downloaded.
